My weekend started out a bit emotional. I had started feeling some lonely emotions, I had to reach out to someone to help me get my head on straight. I talked to my bestie, Adele. I talked to my mom. Then, to bring it all to a close, one of my life mentors who also happens to be my boss, really helped me sum it all up. To end it all, she said, "You know what you need, some retail therapy." And so, I did.
I purchased these seal skin kamik (kuh-mick) from a local thrift store for $2.50. I couldn't believe the price. I couldn't be happier either. Beautiful skin and color. GREAT condition. Amidst my shopping spree (of necessary items, nothing too frivolous), THIS purchase made it all worthwhile.
I rented a car over the weekend, while making plans to get my own truck sent to me (finally). I drove out to Sandy Beach on Douglas, and snapped this shot. There was a cool breeze, a few drops of cool rain, the tide was low...and happy dogs ran all around. It was a peaceful moment.

That's crazy they were only $2.50!! Must have been destined that way to make your retail therapy legit, haha :) & in your size too? Winning.
