Javen Bernard Friemering, Kaanki Du Éesh, is 8 Years Old. He is wise for his young age, and his namesake was a good man, and leader and I can see it in him as well. This shot was taken outside the Alaska Native Medical Center during an impromtu photoshoot I felt was necessary :) I took my nephews, Elias, Javen, and Donovan, to "bisit" their Papa while he was in the hospital after his stroke. While we were getting ready, the boys wanted to wear their Papa's hats that were lying around the house. Javen chose his Papa's knit fishing hat; he was remembering his fishing time with Papa :) The day was light, and cool. My boys just looked so handsome. It lightened my heart to just have fun for a little while. |
