One Day Without Shoes

Not a very flattering shot of my toes, but then again, I've never really been fond of my toes. But it was for a good cause.
However, it was probably 30˚F that day, so while I tried to go an entire day without my shoes I only did about 4 hours. I was impressed to see some folks walking to school on the de-icing stones, and go an entire day. I wish I was that hardcore.
I took this shot at work. I had hoped to take many photos of where I went during the day. Forgot though :)

You have cute toes! I bet you could have gone all day without your shoes if you had more faith in your self, even in 30 degrees... funny, it reminds me of the other day when my toes got cold after getting them wet at lake tahoe (also in the 30s there) when me and CJ were walking to the car I was seriously trying to WILL my toe's blood circulation to pump harder, lol.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the good cause anyway?
I posted the link so folks can learn more about it. It was a national event. We went without shoes so kids around the world didn't have to. BUT, many folks weren't completely aware of what was supposed to happen, haha.
